Freight transport Ternopil: region overview
Ternopil is a regional center in the west of Ukraine, located on the Podilsky Highlands between Lviv and Khmelnytskyi. The region is known for its developed food and light industry. Confectionery factories, dairy plants, meat processing plants and breweries generate a stable cargo flow of food products sent by tented and refrigerated transport throughout Ukraine. Ternopil Region is a powerful agricultural region with the production of grain, sugar beet, vegetables and fruits. Light industry is represented by textile and sewing enterprises, some of which work on orders from European brands. The M-06 highway (Kyiv — Chop) is nearby, and regional roads connect Ternopil with Lviv in 1.5 hours and Khmelnytskyi in an hour's drive. CarGoPro gives carriers of Ternopil Oblast access to applications for transportation of food products, agricultural raw materials, and textile products. Shippers find transport for delivery to Lviv, Kyiv and for export across the western border. The tender system ensures competitive prices on regular routes.
